"Serendipity" - the gift of being able to make delightful discoveries purely by accident
Your Hosts!

Your hosts are Dolores Poles and Ross Greig

We are relatively recent newcomers to this beautiful Island.

We feel we have found our little bit of paradise and it was indeed 'serendipitous' that we decided to move here during a vacation visiting Dolores' brother, who is married to an 'Islander'.

Ross who originally hails from Bonnie Scotland (he still has a twang of the accent after 40 years), travelled the world for many years in his banking career before becoming a Realtor in Oakville, Ontario. Ross is continuing to work in the local Real Estate Market with Royal LePage Country Estates.

Dolores of Italian descent, comes from Toronto, although family in Australia takes her there frequently, but not as often as she would like. Dolores was also a Realtor in Toronto & Oakville and used to own a restaurant in Riverdale in Toronto called "Koala" (The Australian connection prevails !). Her cooking skills leave nothing to be desired. In fact we have a restaurant at the Bed and Breakfast which offers Weekend Dining by Reservation in the off-season. Guests of course, are welcome to dine each night during their stay with us.

Both have young grandchildren. Dolores has two granddaughters in Australia and a granddaughter & grandson in Ontario. Ross has a granddaughter and a grandson in Ontario.

We are avid antique nuts and love attending the many local auctions.
