Your hosts are Dolores and Ross Greig.
We are relatively recent newcomers to this beautiful
Island.
We feel we have found our little bit of paradise and
it was indeed 'serendipitous' that we decided to move
here during a vacation visiting Dolores' brother,
who is married to an 'Islander'.
Ross who originally hails from Bonnie Scotland (he
still has a twang of the accent after 45 years), travelled
the world for many years in his banking career, before
becoming a Realtor in Oakville, Ontario.
Dolores of Italian descent, comes from Toronto, although
family in Australia takes her there frequently, but
not as often as she would like. Dolores was also a
Realtor in Toronto & Oakville and used to own
a restaurant in Riverdale in Toronto called "Koala"
(The Australian connection prevails !). Her cooking
skills leave nothing to be desired. In fact we have
our Renoir Restaurant at the Bed and Breakfast Inn,
which offers Gourmet Dining by Reservation in the
off-season. Guests of course, are welcome to dine
each night during their stay with us.
Both have young grandchildren. Dolores has three granddaughters
in Australia and a granddaughter & 2 grandsons
in Ontario. Ross has a granddaughter and 2 grandsons,
also in Ontario.
We are avid antique nuts and love attending the many
local auctions.
